Privacy & Terms

What we collect
When you submit a project enquiry we collect the name, email, company, website, project details and preferences you provide. This website does not include an analytics tracker or store enquiry drafts in browser storage.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and improve the website. We do not sell your data or add you to a marketing list without your explicit consent.
Who sees it
Submitted enquiries are processed by Formspree and our email provider so we can read and answer them. These services may retain submissions and emails. Our hosting provider may retain technical access logs. The automated guide keeps its conversation in memory in the open page; it is not a live support inbox.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing ohopstudio@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
Private project rooms
Client accounts use Netlify Identity. Private project conversations, revision requests, preview links, approvals and the email and payment references needed to connect your project are stored on Netlify so you and the studio can return to them. Square processes payments; we do not store payment-card details. Project history is retained while work and related support or recordkeeping needs continue. Contact us to request deletion, subject to records we must retain. Project rooms use necessary secure sign-in cookies. Conversation drafts are not saved in browser storage.
AI designer accounts & email choices
The AI website designer requires a verified account so drafts can be protected and daily usage can be applied per account. We store the account email, generated-site records, design messages and an auditable marketing preference with its source and timestamp. Creating an account does not subscribe you to marketing. The marketing box is optional and unchecked, and you can change it in account settings or use the unsubscribe method in any marketing email. Service messages needed to verify the account or answer a request are separate from marketing.
Live chat
If you ask to speak to a person, we store the name, email and messages you send so we can reply. That conversation is held on our own hosting, not with a third-party chat provider, and your browser keeps a key to it so you can return to the thread. Ask us to delete it at any time and it is removed.
Cookies
Public pages use session flags for the entrance animation and assistant hint. AI designer accounts and private project rooms use necessary secure sign-in cookies. Names, emails and messages are not saved to persistent browser storage. No analytics or advertising cookies are added by this site. Refreshing clears the automated guide draft; saved account records and private project history remain available after signing in. Emailing us or submitting a brief sends the information to the providers described above.

Scope of work
Every project is defined in a written proposal covering deliverables, revision rounds, timeline and price. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it starts.
Payment
Projects begin on a deposit, with the balance due at launch. Larger builds are staged across milestones.
Cancellation & Refunds
These terms apply to custom website projects for individuals and businesses. Your written proposal identifies the scope, prices and payment milestones before you pay a deposit.
Before work starts
If you cancel before work begins, we will refund your project payment in full.
After work starts
If you cancel after work begins, we will provide an itemised account of work completed and any third-party costs you approved that cannot be recovered. Completed work is charged using the milestone prices or rates agreed in your proposal, without double-counting. We refund the unused balance of your payment after those charges. A deposit is not automatically forfeited simply because you cancel.
If we cancel
If we cancel your project, we will refund payments covering work we will not deliver. This does not limit any additional remedy you may be entitled to under applicable law.
Problems with delivered work
If delivered work does not match the agreed scope or has a defect, email us with the details so we can review it and arrange an appropriate correction. The support period below does not remove your legal rights or any refund or other remedy required by law.
How to request cancellation or a refund
Email ohopstudio@gmail.com with your name and project details. We will confirm receipt, stop further project work once we receive your cancellation, and explain any charges and refund due. Eligible refunds are issued promptly to the original payment method where possible; your payment provider may take additional time to post them.
Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits cancellation, refund or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Where a statutory cancellation right applies, its notice requirements, deadlines and refund rules take precedence over this policy, and we will provide any required cancellation information.
Ownership
On final payment you own the design, the code and every account created for the project. We may show non-confidential work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Client responsibilities
Timelines assume content, feedback and access arrive as agreed. Delays there move the launch date accordingly.
Support
Bugs reported within 30 days of launch are fixed at no charge. Ongoing changes are covered by a care plan or quoted hourly.
